About the role#
We are looking for a Continuous Improvement Specialist intern for the Summer 2027 term. This role is based on-site in Lyon Station, Pennsylvania. You will work alongside experienced professionals to help identify process improvements and develop solutions that increase operational efficiency.
What you'll do#
- Identify areas for process improvement throughout the organization.
- Gather and analyze data related to performance metrics.
- Collaborate with team members to create and implement new solutions.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions for improvement initiatives.
- Document processes and create visual aids to illustrate workflow enhancements.
- Research industry best practices and benchmarking data.
- Help prepare reports and presentations for stakeholders.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a degree in Business, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret data effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work well in a team or independently.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A proactive mindset and interest in continuous improvement.
