About the role#
This position supports the Audio-Visual team at East Stroudsburg University. You will work up to 20 hours per week, assisting with daily technical operations and event support. The starting pay is $11 per hour, with potential for increases based on your experience.
What you'll do#
- Manage technical functions in the television studio, including audio board setup, microphones, and audio feeds.
- Operate camera trolleys and assist with Master control.
- Run the teleprompter for productions.
- Operate and maintain electronic field video equipment.
- Edit university videos using Adobe Premiere and Final Cut Pro.
- Archive VHS tapes and current video files.
- Provide classroom support and troubleshoot AV issues.
- Maintain and install AV equipment and manage inventory.
- Operate audio and lighting systems during campus events.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as an ESU student.
- Ability to lift, pull, carry, or move up to 50 pounds.
- Reliability and a desire to learn the fundamentals of AV computing.
- Minimum age of 18 years.
- Proficiency in reading and writing English.
- Ability to pass a background check including FBI fingerprinting and PA Child Abuse clearance.
