About the role#
The Facilities Front Office Student Worker supports the administrative operations of the Facilities Management department. You will work under the guidance of office staff to handle customer inquiries, process service requests, and maintain facility records.
What you'll do#
- Answer phones and greet visitors at the service call desk.
- Receive, log, and track routine and emergency work requests.
- Alert the Customer Care Manager or relevant trades when urgent issues arise.
- Handle data entry, scanning, filing, and digital record keeping.
- Support key requests, electronic access updates, and ESU Fleet vehicle coordination.
- Help staff survey building spaces and update campus directories.
- Perform supervised ADA compliance checks.
- Complete various clerical tasks as needed.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as an ESU student.
- Ability to lift, pull, and push up to 40 pounds.
- Basic computer skills.
- Previous experience in customer service.
- Proficiency in clerical work.
- At least 18 years of age.
- English literacy skills.

- This role is located in East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania.
- Work is on-site.
- This is a paid position with an hourly rate of $15.00.
- Employment is contingent upon passing a background check, including FBI fingerprinting and PA Child Abuse clearance.
