About the role#
As a Gender and Sexuality Center Student Worker, you help maintain an inviting space for everyone who visits. You support the team through front-desk coverage, assist with center events, and help staff with daily projects.
What you'll do#
- Welcome students and visitors and connect them with the right person or office.
- Answer phones and emails, handle basic questions, and take messages for the team.
- Manage daily office tasks including printing, data entry, scanning, and mail.
- Assist with events by setting up spaces, checking in attendees, and distributing flyers or gear.
- Organize and stock the front desk and office supplies.
- Support staff on research and various projects as they arise.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as an ESU student.
- Minimum age of 18 years.
- English literacy skills.
- Ability to pass a background check, which includes FBI fingerprinting and a PA Child Abuse check.
- You may be subject to an academic check.
Location & details#
- Location: Pennsylvania, United States.
- Modality: On-site.
- Term: Rolling.
- Hours: 10 hours per week, with the possibility of up to 20 hours based on workload.
- Pay: $9 per hour.
