About the role#
The Reading Department at East Stroudsburg University is hiring a Student Worker to support daily operations. This is a paid, part-time position with a rolling term. You will work on-site for up to 20 hours per week.
What you'll do#
- Greet and support students, campus visitors, and other professionals who visit the department.
- Answer phones and take messages as needed.
- Handle and deliver daily office mail.
- Make copies for professors and assist them with special events.
- Use office software like Windows, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Perform other tasks assigned by the department chair or secretary.
- Maintain professionalism and ethical behavior at all times.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as an undergraduate student at East Stroudsburg University.
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- Strong English literacy skills.
- Clear verbal communication skills for phone and in-person interactions.
- A professional, organized, and dependable approach to your work.
- The ability to work well with a diverse staff and other students.
- A positive and courteous attitude.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

- Compensation: $10.00 per hour.
