About the role#
We are seeking an intern to join our team at the Facility Based Detox Center in Greenville. This role is designed to support your academic curriculum by providing practical experience in a professional clinical setting. You will work directly with adults experiencing mental health and substance use disorders, gaining insight into how crisis service providers operate.
What you'll do#
- Complete clinical rotations, practicum, or internship hours as part of our treatment team.
- Provide one-on-one and group counseling sessions for clients.
- Maintain clinical documentation in compliance with program and Medicaid standards, including assessments and progress reports.
- Support patient healing and recovery in a professional environment.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Health Administration, Psychology, or Public Health degree program.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and internet applications.
- Strong interpersonal skills with excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to manage assigned projects through to completion.
- Commitment to maintaining a high level of patient confidentiality.

- This is an on-site, unpaid internship.
- The role is full-time and follows a rolling schedule.
