About the role#
This is a 10-week paid internship program for the Summer 2027 term. You will work alongside the sales team to learn the logistics industry and the full sales process. You will be paired with a mentor to gain real-world experience and develop your professional skills. This role is full-time and offers the potential for future full-time employment.
What you'll do#
- Prospect and build a pipeline of new business opportunities through outbound phone calls.
- Lead discovery conversations to identify customer needs.
- Deliver demos, navigate objections, negotiate pricing, and close new business.
- Manage opportunities through the sales funnel.
- Set customers up for success by establishing clear expectations and handling the handoff after a sale closes.
- Use company sales tools and technology to drive results.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment at a university as a rising senior, with at least one semester remaining after the program.
- Ability to start on May 24th, 2027, and complete the full 10-week program.
- Strong communication, time management, and project management skills.
- A professional demeanor, coachability, and problem-solving abilities.
- Preferred majors include Business Administration, Marketing, Logistics, Communications, and Economics.
Location & details#
- This role is based in Nashville, Tennessee.
- The schedule follows a hybrid model, requiring 4 days in the office and 1 day remote per week.
