About the role#
This internship provides an opportunity to support the engineering team with technical tasks and project execution. You will apply your academic knowledge to real-world challenges while gaining hands-on experience with EFCO systems and engineering outcomes. This role is a full-time, paid position for the Summer 2027 term.
What you'll do#
- Support project engineering and drafting activities for presale and contracted work.
- Assist with layout drawings, equipment selection, and quantity take-offs.
- Work under the supervision of experienced team members to meet project specifications.
- Complete required onboarding, safety training, and EFCO process orientation.
- Learn and implement EFCO’s drafting and engineering practices.
What you'll need#
- Active pursuit of a bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Construction Engineering.
- Familiarity with Computer-Aided Drafting (CAD) systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
- Demonstrated organizational skills and problem-solving ability.
