About the role#
This is a part-time, paid internship within the SALT (State and Local Tax) group. You will work in a hybrid setting, requiring 24 hours of work over 3 business days per week. The program begins in early January 2027.
What you'll do#
- Learn the preparation procedures for federal and state income tax returns for corporate and individual clients.
- Assist the tax team with tax planning tasks.
- Support the completion and review of tax provisions.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in accounting or an equivalent program.
- Final graduation date between December 2027 and September 2028.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0.
- 0-2 years of recent public accounting experience.
- Pursuing the educational requirements for CPA licensure and 150 academic credits.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word.
- Strong time management, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

- Work Modality: Hybrid (requires 2-3 days per week in-person).
- Requirement: Must live within a commutable distance to the New York office.
