About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship with the tax practice at EisnerAmper. You will join the team in Winter 2028 and work directly with seasoned professionals on client engagements. The role provides an opportunity to apply classroom knowledge to real-world tasks while working under supervision. We look for interns who are interested in developing technical skills and gaining insight into the public accounting industry.
What you'll do#
- Prepare tax returns to build a working knowledge of firm practices.
- Learn internal systems and business processes.
- Work as part of a team to complete client-focused tasks.
- Develop on-the-job technical skills through company training and mentorship.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in accounting from an accredited institution.
- Pursuing 150 academic credits or a master's degree in accounting.
- Strong academic track record with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
- 0-2 years of recent public accounting experience.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

- Location: Birmingham, Alabama.
- Term: Winter 2028 (starting early January).
- Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Full-time (40+ hours per week, Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm).
