About the role#
ENGIE is seeking an intern to join the BESS Design team for the Summer 2026 term. This is a full-time, paid internship based on-site in Broomfield, Colorado. You will work on utility-scale renewable energy projects.
What you'll do#
- Assist in the design of battery energy storage systems.
- Conduct engineering analysis and simulations.
- Support project management tasks.
- Prepare technical documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in Electrical, Mechanical, Environmental, Civil, or Computer Engineering, Business Administration, Mathematics, or Physics.
- Understanding of utility-scale renewable energy design.
- Proficiency in engineering design software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
