    About the role#

    The Customer Support and Repair Engineering Intern will work with the support and repair team to improve network support, repair processes, and operational efficiency. This 12-week role allows you to apply your engineering knowledge to real-world support challenges while developing skills in data analysis, troubleshooting, and process improvement.

    What you'll do#

    • Support the analysis and resolution of telecommunications equipment, network, and service-related issues.
    • Assist with repair, incident, problem, and service-support processes.
    • Analyze operational data to identify recurring issues, trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
    • Develop or enhance automation solutions for repetitive support and repair tasks.
    • Explore practical applications of AI, machine learning, and intelligent automation in customer support.
    • Test, document, and deploy approved tools, scripts, workflows, and process improvements.
    • Collaborate with engineering, operations, supply, quality, and customer-facing teams.
    • Prepare summaries, presentations, and recommendations for stakeholders.

    What you'll need#

    • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Network Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
    • Active enrollment as a full-time student at an accredited undergraduate, master’s, or PhD program.
    • A minimum GPA of 2.7 or equivalent.
    • Familiarity with one or more programming or automation languages such as Python, JavaScript, SQL, or PowerShell.
    • Ability to analyze technical information and communicate conclusions clearly.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn.
    • Ability to work collaboratively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

    • Location: Plano, Texas.
    • Term: Summer 2027 (12 weeks).
    • Modality: Hybrid.
    • Employment: Full-time paid internship.
