About the role#
This is a temporary, project-based internship at Faribault Foods. You will work under the Plant Manager to evaluate our current camera system. The goal is to determine if we can restore the system to full function or if we need to replace it. This project is expected to last two to three months.
What you'll do#
- Reprogram and troubleshoot the camera system to restore its functionality.
- Perform root-cause analysis on system issues.
- Coordinate with IT, Maintenance, and Operations to keep equipment running safely.
- Document your findings to help the team decide whether to repair or replace the system.
- Handle other duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Strong skills in analysis, troubleshooting, organization, and prioritization.
- Clear written and oral communication.
- Prior experience with PC support or IT is desired.
- Exposure to cameras, PLCs, or industrial control system programming is a plus.
- Ability to work in an industrial manufacturing environment, including climbing stairs or ladders and accessing elevated platforms.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 pounds.
- Willingness to work around noise, heat, and humidity while wearing required safety gear like hard hats, gloves, and protective footwear.
