About the role#
The Summer 2027 Commercial Middle Market Internship at Fifth Third Bank provides students with exposure to various banking disciplines. You will gain work experience through assignments within a specific line of business. This program includes on-the-job training, networking opportunities, and performance coaching. You will work as a team member on larger initiatives and handle smaller projects independently.
What you'll do#
- Complete assignments as determined by your Assignment Leader.
- Manage and report on project status.
- Participate in community volunteerism projects.
- Attend leadership development activities, such as training classes and speaker series.
- Deliver a formal presentation to business leaders.
- Build a network of resources within your assigned line of business.
- Communicate effectively with others using strong verbal and written skills.
What you'll need#
- A strong academic record with a minimum 3.0 GPA.
- At least 1-2 years of completed college coursework.
- Interest in pursuing a career in banking.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Professional customer service skills.
- Currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Communications, or Marketing.
