About the role#
We are looking for an Operations & Business Development Assistant to join our team in Bloomington. This is a paid internship designed to transition into a full-time, salaried position within 90 days based on your performance. You will shadow various business functions, receive hands-on training, and have the opportunity to specialize in a specific area as you grow with the company.
What you'll do#
- Assist with purchasing materials and coordinating with suppliers.
- Support production scheduling and job site planning.
- Manage sales leads, prepare quotes, and follow up with customers.
- Contribute to marketing efforts, including social media, branding, and local outreach.
- Attend networking events, expos, and trade meetings with the owner.
- Represent the brand and participate in our daily operations.
What you'll need#
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree (previous work experience is preferred).
- Outgoing personality with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage various responsibilities.
- Valid driver's license.
- Willingness to undergo a comprehensive background check.
- Interest in growing into a long-term, skilled, or specialized role.
Location & details#
- This role is based in Bloomington, Minnesota.
- Work is on-site, involving time in the office, warehouse, and at job sites.
- The schedule is Monday through Friday, with occasional evening or weekend events as needed.
- This is a full-time internship (20 to 40 hours per week) that leads to a permanent, salaried position.
