About the role#
Franklin Pierce University Athletics is looking for reliable students to assist with the operation of home athletic events. You will support the Athletic Communications staff to help ensure games run smoothly. This is a part-time, rolling position with hours that vary based on the home competition schedule.
What you'll do#
- Manage live statistics and game day stat operations.
- Operate scoreboards, game clocks, and other event equipment.
- Assist with livestream and broadcast production.
- Serve as the public address announcer or manage music and in-game audio.
- Handle pregame and postgame setup and breakdown.
- Distribute rosters, statistics, and other event materials.
- Provide general support as assigned by Athletics staff.
What you'll need#
- You are dependable and punctual.
- You have strong attention to detail.
- You can follow instructions and work well within a team.
- You are willing to work evenings and weekends.
- Knowledge of sports is preferred, though not required.
- Previous experience with broadcasting, statistics, or events is a plus, but we provide training.
- This role is open to students pursuing majors in Communications, Journalism, Media Studies, or Business Administration.
