About the role#
G2 Capital Advisors offers a co-op program for students to gain experience in Buy-Side, Sell-Side, Restructuring, and Capital Markets processes. You will work on deal teams and receive coaching from industry experts. This role provides exposure to comparative and intrinsic valuation methods while allowing you to contribute to projects from your first day.
What you'll do#
- Conduct market research to support business development and mandate execution.
- Help build comparative valuation methodologies, including market sizing and precedent transactions.
- Track M&A trends and create industry-specific research.
- Prepare financial analysis for clients across various sectors to support ongoing mandates.
- Develop marketing collateral for client pitches, financings, and sale processes.
- Manage multiple project timelines and communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a 4 or 5-year degree program with a minimum 3.5 GPA.
- Majors in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, or Computer Science.
- A strong grasp of the three financial statements and experience with financial modeling.
- Previous experience in a related field, such as investment banking, private equity, or restructuring, is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong business writing skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
Location & details#
- Location: Boston, Massachusetts.
- Term: Winter 2027 (January through June 2027).
- Work Modality: On-site, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm EST.
- Compensation: $23 per hour.
- This is a full-time, paid internship.
