About the role#
As a Marketing and Sales Enablement Intern, you will support the General Motors Fleet team. This business unit provides vehicle and mobility solutions to government and business customers. You will contribute to growth strategies by analyzing data and supporting sales teams. This role involves hands-on experience with marketing strategy, customer onboarding, and sales operations.
What you'll do#
- Develop and execute marketing and go-to-market strategies.
- Manage customer relationships and support social media and media messaging.
- Evaluate and improve the marketing technology tools used by the team.
- Assist with sales operations and customer onboarding processes.
- Analyze customer, marketing, and sales data to find trends and opportunities.
- Create materials and recommendations to help sales teams and customers make informed decisions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to support customer success initiatives.
What you'll need#
- Pursuit of a bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, sales, or journalism.
- Graduation date between December 2027 and June 2029.
- Ability to work full-time, 40 hours per week, for the 12-week duration.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-directed work ethic and a desire to take ownership of tasks.
- Ability to listen and engage others in meaningful dialogue.
- Preferred: Prior experience in the automotive industry and a strong technical background.
Location & details#
- Location: Warren, Michigan.
- Modality: Hybrid (minimum of three days per week in the office).
- Term: Summer 2027 (start dates available May 24 or June 14).
- This position is paid.
