About the role#
As an intern on the Connect Learning & Development team, you will contribute to projects that support our internal training and educational initiatives. This role offers the chance to gain experience in a corporate learning environment while working with instructional designers and project stakeholders. You will conclude your internship by delivering a final presentation summarizing your work.
What you'll do#
- Coordinate and manage learning projects, including scheduling meetings and gathering resources from stakeholders.
- Review new courses under development to identify errors and suggest improvements.
- Assist instructional designers with course design principles and best practices.
- Create quick reference guides and job aids to support various learning programs.
- Support the LMS Administrator with projects in our My Learning Portal.
- Collaborate with course owners during monthly reviews to determine if updates are needed.
What you'll need#
- Full-time enrollment in a Bachelor’s, Master’s, MBA, JD, or PhD program at a nationally accredited U.S. college or university.
- Continued full-time enrollment in the Fall semester following the internship.
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8.
- Ability to work full-time for 10 to 12 consecutive weeks between May and August.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Independent work authorization in the United States without the need for school or employer sponsorship.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Preferred majors include Business Administration, Project Management, Learning & Development, or Instructional Design.
