About the role#
This internship offers an opportunity to contribute to Medical Affairs Research projects at Gilead Sciences. You will engage in meaningful work that supports the company mission while gaining professional experience. The program includes leadership presentations, networking activities, and community volunteer programs.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate on the evaluation of Lenacapavir Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis research concepts for HIV prevention.
- Review and prioritize incoming research ideas and investigator-initiated proposals based on scientific relevance and strategic alignment.
- Support the implementation of the U.S. Phase 4 LEN PrEP study, including protocol execution and milestone tracking.
- Assist in enhancing internal workflows, documentation, and policy frameworks for late-phase research.
- Present a final summary of your work near the end of the internship.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s, Master’s, MBA, JD, or PhD program in Data Science, Public Health, Economics, or related fields.
- Continued full-time enrollment in the Fall semester following the internship.
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8.
- Ability to commit to a full-time, 10 to 12-week internship.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Independent work authorization in the United States without the need for future sponsorship.
