About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience in biopharmaceutical analytical testing. You will explore how laboratory automation, data science, and AI-enabled tools improve scientific workflows and operational efficiency. You will contribute to meaningful projects while gaining experience in an innovative research environment.
What you'll do#
- Learn and apply a biopharmaceutical analytical method through hands-on laboratory training.
- Develop a foundational understanding of assay principles, workflows, data generation, and method performance.
- Support laboratory automation efforts by evaluating, programming, and optimizing platforms for assay execution.
- Adapt, enhance, and validate AI-enabled data processing tools for analytical workflows.
- Collaborate with scientists and automation specialists to improve assay efficiency and data quality.
- Analyze experimental results, troubleshoot technical challenges, and document findings.
- Present project progress and technical recommendations to stakeholders.
- Showcase your work with a final presentation at the conclusion of the internship.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment as a full-time student in a Bachelor’s, Master’s, MBA, JD, or PhD program in Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, or Data Science.
- Minimum overall cumulative GPA of 2.8.
- Ability to commit to a full-time internship for 10-12 consecutive weeks between May and August 2027.
- Must be at least 18 years of age at the start of the internship.
- Independent authorization to work in the United States now and in the future without sponsorship.
