    About the role#

    The Automation Engineering Co-Op position at Graco offers hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment. This is a full-time, paid role based at the David Koch Center in Rogers, Minnesota. The program runs from January through August 2027.

    What you'll do#

    • Provide general production support for machining and assembly areas through technical assistance and troubleshooting.
    • Evaluate machine and assembly area upgrades.
    • Participate in capital equipment justification.
    • Review operational layouts and standards to suggest improvements.
    • Select and implement tooling and fixtures for production jobs.
    • Assist with root cause analysis, corrective action, and cost of quality improvements.
    • Report man-hour estimates and react to changing priorities.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program for Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable engineering field.
    • A minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
    • Mechanical aptitude and an interest in hands-on work.
    • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Experience with CAD software such as AutoCAD.
    • Experience with 3D printers.
    • Legal authorization to work in the United States without company sponsorship.

    • Location: Rogers, Minnesota.
    • Modality: On-site.
    • Term: Winter and Summer 2027 (January through August).
    • Pay: $21.00 to $28.00 per hour.
