    About the role#

    This Manufacturing Engineering Co-Op position offers a chance to apply your engineering coursework to real-world applications. You will work within a Strategic Business Unit and Manufacturing Cell, providing ideas, inputs, and analysis as a project team member. This is a full-time, paid position.

    What you'll do#

    • Provide general production support for machining and assembly areas.
    • Participate in hands-on troubleshooting and provide technical assistance.
    • Help evaluate the need for machine or assembly area upgrades.
    • Participate in capital equipment justification.
    • Review and analyze standards and operational layouts to suggest improvements.
    • Assist in selecting and implementing tooling and fixtures for machining and assembly jobs.
    • Participate in cost of quality improvements, root cause analysis, and corrective action.
    • Report man-hour estimates.
    • React to changing priorities in a timely manner.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s Degree program for Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable engineering program.
    • A minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
    • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as an effective team member.
    • Mechanical aptitude and a desire for hands-on work.
    • Experience with CAD software, such as AutoCAD.
    • Experience with 3D printers.

    • Location: Anoka, Minnesota, USA.
    • Terms: Winter 2027 and Summer 2027.
    • Work modality: On-site.
    • Compensation: $21.00 - $28.00 per hour.
    • Note: This role does not offer immigration sponsorship.
