About the role#
This is a full-time Manufacturing Engineering Co-op position focused on Operational Technology. You will work on-site at the David Koch Center in Rogers, Minnesota. The term spans Winter and Summer 2027, specifically from January through August.
What you'll do#
- Provide general production support for machining and assembly areas.
- Troubleshoot issues and provide technical assistance.
- Evaluate the need for machine or assembly area upgrades.
- Participate in capital equipment justification as needed.
- Review standards and operational layouts to suggest improvements.
- Assist in selecting and implementing tooling and fixtures.
- Participate in cost of quality improvements, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
- Report man-hour estimates and react to changing priorities.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program for Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable engineering field.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
- Mechanical aptitude and a desire for hands-on work.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with CAD software such as AutoCAD.
- Experience with 3D printers.
Location & details#
- Location: Rogers, Minnesota.
- This role is paid at a rate of $21.00 to $28.00 per hour.
