    About the role#

    This is a full-time Manufacturing Engineering Co-op position focused on Operational Technology. You will work on-site at the David Koch Center in Rogers, Minnesota. The term spans Winter and Summer 2027, specifically from January through August.

    What you'll do#

    • Provide general production support for machining and assembly areas.
    • Troubleshoot issues and provide technical assistance.
    • Evaluate the need for machine or assembly area upgrades.
    • Participate in capital equipment justification as needed.
    • Review standards and operational layouts to suggest improvements.
    • Assist in selecting and implementing tooling and fixtures.
    • Participate in cost of quality improvements, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
    • Report man-hour estimates and react to changing priorities.

    What you'll need#

    • Enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program for Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable engineering field.
    • A minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
    • Mechanical aptitude and a desire for hands-on work.
    • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Experience with CAD software such as AutoCAD.
    • Experience with 3D printers.

    Location & details#

    • Location: Rogers, Minnesota.
    • This role is paid at a rate of $21.00 to $28.00 per hour.
    • Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States. This position does not offer immigration sponsorship.
