About the role#
We are looking for a Product Development Intern to join our team in Hoboken. This role offers hands-on experience with the full product development cycle, from initial trend research and sketching to final sampling and vendor communication. You will work with a brand focused on licensed apparel and accessories.
What you'll do#
- Track and organize incoming samples by stage, including PP and TOP samples.
- Support trend forecasting and help develop seasonal concepts.
- Assist with tech pack preparation and early-stage conversations with vendors, including overseas partners.
- Review artwork placement, garment construction, and swatch or trim references.
- Build presentations, mood boards, and line assortments.
- Log project timelines and sample status in Asana and Excel-based trackers.
- Collaborate across departments including Design, Technical Design, Production, Marketing, and Licensing.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Fashion, Technical Design, or a related field.
- Familiarity with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or CAD.
- One year of experience in apparel or accessories product development and sourcing.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- A proactive, figure-it-out attitude.
- A genuine interest in fashion, trends, and the product manufacturing process.
