About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2026. You will join our team to support dredging and land reclamation projects across various locations. The program begins in May and concludes in August, typically ending one to two weeks before the start of the fall semester. We provide airfare to our corporate headquarters for technology setup, as well as transportation to your assigned project site. Housing is provided on-site in either a hotel room or a shared company apartment. You will also receive a daily meal allowance while working on-site.
What you'll do#
- Prioritize a safe work environment during all daily tasks and operations.
- Conduct land and hydrographic surveying to assist with construction management.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on dredge production data.
- Prepare daily dredge and quality control reports.
- Assist operations teams and provide general support on project sites.
What you'll need#
- You must be a senior undergraduate student.
- We are looking for students pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering, Ocean Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Construction Management.
- You must be available to work a 7-day per week schedule, typically 8 to 12 hours per day.
Location & details#
This is an on-site role. Project sites are located in various states including Illinois, New York, New Jersey, North Carolina, Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, Louisiana, Texas, Arkansas, Missouri, and Virginia. Compensation includes a base hourly rate, with overtime pay at 1.5 times the hourly rate for any hours worked over 40 per week.
