About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience in financial analysis, business planning, and operational strategy. You will work alongside experienced leaders to support financial initiatives and gain exposure to various areas of the business. The program requires a commitment of at least 12 weeks during the summer of 2027.
What you'll do#
- Assist with financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and business planning.
- Analyze financial and operational data to find trends, efficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Support projects focused on profitability, cost management, and business performance.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and recommendations for leadership teams.
- Participate in facility visits to understand operations and business performance.
- Collaborate with employees across multiple departments and complete special projects as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, Agricultural Business, Economics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- Current status of at least a second-semester junior or first-semester senior.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and quantitative skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
- A valid driver's license and a willingness to travel, including occasional overnight trips.
- Ability to attend three required internship events: Orientation (May 24-25), Mid-Summer Meeting (June 28-30), and Conclusion Meeting (August 11-12).
