About the role#
The Flight Controls V&V Collegiate Intern position offers an opportunity to gain experience in the design, development, and certification of Flight Control Systems. You will work within the Gulfstream Flight Controls team on large cabin programs, collaborating with engineers across electronics, software, and actuation disciplines.
What you'll do#
- Develop, design, and certify hardware and software for Flight Control System equipment.
- Write and execute system functional verification tests in an integrated lab setting.
- Create tools for fleet reliability data analysis and system troubleshooting.
- Assist with troubleshooting in-service issues that impact component reliability.
- Perform other assigned duties as needed.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor’s degree program or higher in Aerospace, Electrical, Mechanical, or Computer Engineering.
- Completion of your sophomore year before the start date.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher, which must be listed on your resume.
- Proficiency in English.
- Coding experience in MATLAB and Python.
- Practical lab experience focused on integration testing and troubleshooting.
Location & details#
- This internship is based on-site in Savannah, Georgia.
- You must be available to work during the Spring 2027 semester.
- Reliable transportation is required.
- This is a paid, full-time position.
