About the role#
This summer internship supports the Gulfstream Flight Operations organization. You will work to improve efficiency across the company fleet. You will interface with the Flight Operations Supervisor, Directors, Chief Pilots, the Dispatch Senior Manager, and the VP of Flight Ops. This role is based in Savannah, Georgia and requires you to be on-site.
What you'll do#
- Complete projects that enhance processes and efficiencies for mission-specific Gulfstream fleets, including production test, demonstration, and Airborne Customer Support.
- Execute work plans involving flight safety systems, business intelligence, analytics, flight operations, and aeronautical, mechanical, or systems engineering.
- Support efficient work practices.
- Follow all safety rules, procedures, and company regulations.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a full-time student in a bachelor degree program or higher.
- Completion of your sophomore year before the start date.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Enrollment in a college aviation program, such as pilot training, aircraft dispatch, business aviation, engineering technology, aviation maintenance, or a related field.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Majors in Aerospace Engineering or Mechanical Engineering are preferred.
