About the role#
Hadrian builds hardware and software for autonomous factories. As a Robotics Engineer Intern, you will work on the systems that power our manufacturing processes. You will join a team of engineers to develop and deploy software for production environments. This is a full-time, paid role where you will work on real systems that our factory operators and technicians use daily.
What you'll do#
- Build and improve internal tools, dashboards, and automation systems for factory operations.
- Contribute to backend services, APIs, and data pipelines for engineering, operations, and quality teams.
- Design and implement features to improve visibility into production workflows, capacity, and program status.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver software solutions.
- Write clean, well-tested code and participate in code reviews.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's program for Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Expected graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028.
- Strong proficiency in C++ or Python.
- Exposure to motion control, trajectory generation, and robot kinematics or dynamics.
- Ability to meet U.S. government export regulations (ITAR).
Location & details#
- This is an on-site role based in Torrance or Los Angeles, California.
- The position follows a rolling term schedule.
- Compensation is $46.15 to $50.71 per hour, depending on experience and education.
