About the role#
The Hamilton County Auditor's Office is hiring a Community Development Intern to support the Community and Economic Development department. This is a full-time, paid position based in Cincinnati. The role involves assisting staff with daily operations and long-term project goals.
What you'll do#
- Support the competitive funding process.
- Collect and analyze demographic data.
- Research best practices for affordable housing and community development.
- Organize project files and attend team meetings.
- Create social media content and project summaries, including maps and graphics.
- Assist with inclusion efforts, such as outreach and recruitment for contractors.
- Help staff with program monitoring and client intake.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's program for Political Science, Urban Planning, Public Administration, or a related field.
- A valid driver's license from your state of residence.
- Ability to maintain regular and predictable attendance.
Location & details#
- Location: 138 East Court Street, Cincinnati, Ohio.
- Work modality: On-site.
- Schedule: 80 hours biweekly.
