About the role#
As a Tax Intern at Hantz Group, you will join our Family Office team in Marquette. You will work alongside CPAs, accountants, and financial advisors to learn how tax accounting connects with broader financial services. This role offers hands-on experience while you pursue your degree.
What you'll do#
- Analyze tax liability for clients.
- Prepare tax projections.
- Attend team meetings and training sessions.
- Assist the Tax Team with client services.
- Comply with industry rules and regulations.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Intentions to complete an Enrolled Agent or Certified Public Accountant license.
- Ability to obtain an active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN).
- Basic computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and work with accountability.
