About the role#
As a Tax Intern at Hantz Group, you will join our Family Office team. You will work alongside CPAs, accountants, and financial advisors to learn how tax accounting functions within financial services. This role offers hands-on experience while you complete your degree.
What you'll do#
- Analyze tax liability for our clients.
- Create tax projections.
- Collaborate with the tax team to service client accounts.
- Participate in meetings and training sessions.
- Follow all industry rules and regulations.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- You have basic computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office.
- You have the ability to obtain an active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN).
- You intend to pursue an Enrolled Agent or Certified Public Accountant license.
- You possess strong written and verbal communication skills, along with a sense of personal accountability.
