About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship based in our Mississauga office. You will join the Industrial Clean Tech group, which focuses on air pollution control, mine ventilation, and gas handling systems. The team works on projects to improve facility performance, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and ensure environmental compliance. You will report to experienced engineering specialists and gain exposure to the full project lifecycle from concept to construction.
What you'll do#
- Perform mass and energy balances and create process flow diagrams.
- Prepare technical calculations, reports, specifications, and datasheets.
- Analyze data and run computer simulations using specialty software.
- Travel to project sites to perform measurements.
- Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary engineering team and client groups.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Chemical or Mechanical Engineering degree program at an accredited post-secondary institution in Canada.
- Preference for students currently in their 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year of study.
- A strong academic record.
- Clear communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
