About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for a Civil Engineering student. You will work within the Linear Conveyance practice, supporting the design and construction of municipal water and sewer infrastructure. This role is based on-site in Mississauga.
What you'll do#
- Assist with preliminary and detailed design of linear infrastructure, including watermains and sewers.
- Perform hydraulic calculations, pipe sizing, and system modelling under supervision.
- Prepare and revise technical drawings, plan and profiles, and design markups using CAD tools.
- Participate in site visits to observe construction activities and collect field data.
- Assist with shop drawing reviews and the preparation of field sketches.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including project managers and construction staff.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Civil Engineering degree program.
- Foundational skills in CAD software, such as AutoCAD, MicroStation, or Civil 3D.
- An analytical mindset with an interest in hydraulics and water conveyance systems.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills.
- A detail-oriented approach and strong organizational skills.

- Compensation: $26.00 - $33.00 per hour.
