About the role#
This fellowship offers paid supervision hours through a structured clinical program. You will provide one-on-one care using ABA interventions to teach communication, daily living skills, and positive behaviors. The role allows you to complete unrestricted activities defined by the BACB to help meet requirements for the BCBA exam.
What you'll do#
- Build trusting relationships with clients through social interaction.
- Encourage the development of communication, social skills, and problem-solving.
- Guide clients toward safe behaviors and provide positive reinforcement.
- Collect unbiased behavior data accurately.
- Communicate with fellow RBTs, BCBAs, families, and Clinical Directors.
- Conduct behavior-analytic assessments and research literature for client programming.
- Train caregivers on behavior-analytic programs and work with a BCBA mentor.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in or graduation from a BACB approved Master’s or Certification Program.
- Ability to pass the RBT exam within 30 days of employment.
- Must be an active RBT for 60 days with Helping Hands Family.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for recording notes and speaking with families.
