About the role#
This Fellowship provides paid supervision hours through a structured clinical program. You will provide one-on-one ABA behavior interventions to teach communication, practice daily living skills, and encourage positive behaviors. Fellows complete both restricted and unrestricted activities to meet requirements for the BCBA exam. This is a full-time, paid position.
What you'll do#
- Build a positive and trusting relationship with clients through social interaction.
- Encourage the development of communication, social skills, and problem-solving.
- Guide clients toward safe behaviors and provide positive reinforcement.
- Gradually reduce prompts to promote independent responses.
- Accurately collect unbiased behavior data.
- Communicate with RBTs, BCBAs, families, and Clinical Directors.
- Conduct behavior-analytic assessments and research relevant literature.
- Train staff and caregivers on behavior-analytic programs.
- Write and revise behavior-analytic programs while maintaining ethical compliance.
- Work with a BCBA mentor on guided practice.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment or graduation from a BACB approved Master’s or Certification Program (must have a 60% exam pass rate for 3 consecutive years or be ABAI/APBA accredited).
- Ability to pass the RBT exam within 30 days of employment.
- Must be an active RBT for 60 days with the company.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Majors considered include Psychology, Nursing, Public Health, Kinesiology, Biomedical Sciences, Human Resources, Communications, and Sociology.
