About the role#
This is a full-time professional internship within the Sales Area at Hitachi. You will support regional sales operations, focusing on market analysis and business development processes for Peru and Bolivia. This role follows a rolling term.
What you'll do#
- Manage the assignment of incoming customer orders.
- Prepare reports for operations in Peru and Bolivia.
- Develop strategic plans for target business opportunities.
- Determine the available market size for specific segments.
- Maintain and update sales opportunity records in Salesforce.
- Assist in developing new business opportunities from the initial stage by working alongside factory specialists.
What you'll need#
- A degree in Electrical, Electronic, Energy, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
- Advanced English proficiency is required.
- Knowledge of electrical systems for generation, transmission, and distribution is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with SAP, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and Salesforce is a plus.
- Previous experience in a sales environment is helpful but not required.
Location & details#
- The role is based in San Isidro, Peru.
- This is a hybrid position requiring at least 2 days of on-site work per week, with the remaining time remote.
- This is a paid internship.
