About the role#
Homeward Bound Inc. is hiring a Student DSP to gain hands-on experience supporting individuals with developmental and physical disabilities. You will work in group homes and the community. This is a paid, part-time position with a rolling start date.
What you'll do#
- Support individuals in group homes and within the community.
- Assist with daily living skills such as hygiene, meals, and mobility.
- Help implement personalized care and life enrichment plans.
- Build relationships while encouraging personal choice and independence.
- Accompany individuals on outings and community activities.
What you'll need#
- You must be 16-24 years old and currently enrolled in high school or college.
- Ability to lift 60 lbs and meet physical job demands.
- CPR and First Aid certification, or a willingness to obtain it.
- A valid driver license is required once you turn 18.
- Reliable and eager to learn.

- This role is located in Plymouth, Minnesota.
- Work is performed on-site.
- The position offers flexible scheduling to fit around your classes.

- This role qualifies for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF).
