About the role#
Howmet Aerospace is looking for a Process Engineering Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, paid position based in Del Rio, Texas. You will work on-site and participate in a program that includes leadership sessions, plant tours, networking, and community volunteering.
What you'll do#
- Assist engineering and manufacturing teams with quality and delivery performance.
- Execute process control and improvement initiatives.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program for Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
- Completion of at least Sophomore level coursework.
- A current US Passport, as this role requires a daily commute to our plant in Mexico.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States (visa sponsorship is not available).
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team.
- Relevant work, research, or internship experience is a plus.
