About the role#
This is a full-time, paid Materials Planning Co-op position at Raytheon Technologies. You will focus on Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning (SIOP) and materials management. This role provides an opportunity to learn how to plan a factory to meet sales, inventory, and delivery goals. You will work across manufacturing, quality, sales, and program leadership teams.
What you'll do#
- Participate in SIOP and materials management tasks.
- Collaborate with teams on demand planning, master scheduling, production planning, and logistics.
- Engage in Lean events and developmental monthly job duties.
- Assist with transportation and inventory data analytics.
- Partner with the transportation team to identify cost savings opportunities.
- Develop Standard Work and knowledge transfer documentation with peers.
- Receive training, mentoring, and guidance from your manager and team.
- Network with other interns and co-ops at the Cedar Rapids site.
- Shadow other functions to build a broader understanding of the business.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a Bachelor's or Advanced degree in Business Analytics, Supply Chain Management, or a related STEM field.
- Active enrollment in your degree program through the completion of the co-op.
- Experience with SQL Programming or Power BI.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- U.S. citizenship is required for this position.
