About the role#
This internship is a 10 to 12-week program during the summer of 2027. You will work on-site in Reading, Pennsylvania. The role focuses on improving manufacturing and testing processes for our electrical and utility solutions.
What you'll do#
- Analyze existing workflows, fixtures, and procedures to improve manufacturing and testing.
- Design and implement new test fixtures, manufacturing methods, and tooling solutions.
- Assist with process improvement initiatives.
- Manage multiple projects with overlapping tasks.
- Present your work to the local management team at the end of the program.
What you'll need#
- Full-time enrollment in an accredited college or university through August 2027.
- Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
- A minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Experience with Microsoft Office products.
- Experience using digital multimeters and assembling wire harnesses, including crimping and termination techniques.
