About the role#
Huitt-Zollars offers internship and co-op opportunities for the 2027 calendar year. These are paid, full-time, on-site positions for students currently enrolled in an accredited university. You will work directly with our teams across Texas, California, New Mexico, and Florida.
What you'll do#
- Manage tasks across 2-3 projects at different stages of development.
- Use BIM software to prepare project designs and construction documents.
- Research building codes and materials for design incorporation.
- Update Revit models with information from consultants and suppliers.
- Process contractor submittals and RFIs by logging and routing documentation.
- Create graphic materials for presentations and record meeting minutes.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited university program for Architecture, Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or Urban Planning.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.
- Experience with BIM software and Revit modeling.
- Ability to research and apply building codes.
