About the role#
Hunt Consolidated is looking for a Reservoir Engineer Intern to join the Western Region Subsurface department in Dallas. You will support reservoir and production engineering projects focused on our operated Bakken assets. This is a paid, full-time summer internship for 2027. We provide housing if needed.
What you'll do#
- Assist the subsurface team with calculations and assessments for field development and budget proposals.
- Research and evaluate producing properties, proven reserves, and the upside potential of active regions.
- Prepare property recommendations for future well work and drilling opportunities, including technical and economic analysis.
- Interface with a multidisciplinary team and communicate with field personnel.
- Present your project results to management.
What you'll need#
- You are a rising junior, senior, or master’s student pursuing a degree in petroleum engineering or chemical engineering.
- A minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Strong presentation and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
- Previous internship experience is preferred, and extracurricular activities are a plus.
- You must be self-motivated, proactive, and safety-conscious.

- This role is based on-site at our Dallas, Texas office.
- This is a paid summer 2027 position.
