About the role#
This 10-week internship offers a look at life as a Quant Researcher at IMC. You will work with a mentor to explore research ideas and build custom analysis tools for production. Throughout the summer, you will gain knowledge in options theory, market making, algorithm complexity, and trades analysis. Interns who meet performance expectations may be considered for a full-time Graduate Quant Researcher position at the end of the program.

What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program with a graduation date between September 2027 and July 2028.
- Pursuing a degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Statistics, Physics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
- Superior numerical, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
- A drive to solve complex problems and develop trading intuition.
- Experience with a programming language such as Python, C, or C++ is highly desired.

- Compensation: The base salary for this role is $250,000. Accommodations are included.
