About the role#
We are looking for a Service Desk Technician for the Winter 2027 term, running from January to April. This is a full-time, paid co-op position based in our Toronto office. You will work directly with our IT team to maintain hardware, support new hires, and ensure our office systems run smoothly.
What you'll do#
- Inspect, test, and repair computer hardware and peripherals.
- Prepare, image, and configure computers for new and existing users.
- Manage the shipping and receiving of IT assets while keeping accurate inventory records.
- Help new hires with their first-time setup, account access, and driver updates.
- Perform daily checks of AV systems and display hardware to keep them ready for use.
- Assist the broader Service Desk team with technical support tickets.
- Coordinate with HR to process equipment returns from departing employees.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a College Diploma or University Degree program in a field like Computer Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Cybersecurity.
- Eligibility to participate in a formal co-op program.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration, Active Directory, and Azure AD.
- Experience with Windows 10/11 and macOS.
- A general understanding of network devices, such as routers, switches, and access points.
- Strong communication skills in English and a commitment to following documentation processes.
