About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for the Summer of 2027. You will join a 10-12 week program designed to provide hands-on experience through real projects, mentorship, and leadership training. You will work within a business unit to contribute to the design and development of rotating equipment such as air compressors, blowers, and pumps.
What you'll do#
- Manage assigned projects from inception to completion.
- Support lab testing, product analysis, and new technology innovation.
- Assist in the design and development of rotating equipment.
- Handle technical, marketing, and systems questions from internal peers and customers.
- Help test and verify software or assist in electrical system design, depending on your specific engineering focus.
- Work directly in an active lab or manufacturing environment.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor Degree in Mechanical, Computer, Aerospace, or Electrical Engineering.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Strong project management, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively in a team.
- Analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Motivation to achieve goals and a detail-oriented approach to results.
- Leadership abilities.
- CAD modeling skills are preferred.

- Locations: Quincy, Illinois; Springfield, Missouri; or Bentleyville, Pennsylvania.
- Flexibility regarding your assigned location is required.
- This is a full-time, on-site, paid position.
