About the role#
Interfor is hiring a Forestry Intern for a summer internship based in Miramichi, New Brunswick. This is a full-time, on-site position. You will work alongside experienced professionals to gain practical experience in woodlands operations. The role focuses on planning, fieldwork, safety, and forest management. We offer a salary starting from $3,350 per month, depending on your year in school, and a temporary living allowance for those relocating.
What you'll do#

What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a forestry-related post-secondary degree or diploma program, such as forestry, environmental engineering, agriculture, natural resources, or conservation.
- A basic understanding of safety rules and regulations.
- Physical fitness and the ability to work in challenging weather and terrain.
- A valid driver's license.

- Term: Summer 2027, with an anticipated start in May and a duration of 4 to 8 months.
