    About the role#

    As an Engineering intern, you will gain hands-on experience in industrial electrical design and construction. You will work alongside experienced professionals on real projects, helping our teams move initiatives through the pipeline. This role provides an in-depth look at electrical disciplines, business operations, project management, and safety.

    What you'll do#

    • Collect and review project data to define scope.
    • Record design decisions in internal software.
    • Create electrical drawings using 2D and 3D drafting tools.
    • Communicate project updates clearly to team members and clients.
    • Travel to job-sites or shops to work directly with craft or manufacturing teams.
    • Focus on specific areas such as power systems, controls design, instrumentation, or field construction.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment in an engineering degree program or a drafting degree from a technical college.
    • Between 0 and 4 years of electrical experience or education.
    • Interest in manufacturing, industrial, and electrical systems.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to collaborate effectively with superintendents, engineers, and estimators.
