About the role#
This internship focuses on learning the basics of college campus ministry. It is designed for students currently enrolled in a four-year or community college. You will work with a campus ministry team to develop your leadership skills, spiritual understanding, and ministry experience. The role requires you to discern your call to ministry while maturing as a disciple of Jesus Christ.
What you'll do#
- Participate in the campus ministry team to cast vision and direction.
- Contribute to plans for spiritual growth and transformation.
- Teach students how to study, love, and apply Scripture.
- Promote the mission on campus to build witnessing communities that are broader, bolder, and more ethnically diverse.
- Seek opportunities to demonstrate and proclaim the Gospel.
- Guide chapter segments in strategic thinking and model a love for people of every culture.
- Encourage a prayerful lifestyle among students.
- Engage with supervision and training from your ministry director.
- Serve as an ambassador to ministry partners and churches.
What you'll need#
- You are a follower of Jesus Christ.
- You can annually affirm the InterVarsity Statement of Agreement.
- You have a developing passion for evangelism.
- You demonstrate leadership qualities like initiative, self-awareness, cultural competence, teamwork, and relational maturity.
- Preferred academic backgrounds include Psychology, Communications, Philosophy, Sociology, or Political Science.

- This is a paid, full-time position.
- Compensation is funded through personal fundraising. Your salary depends on your ability to secure a donor team to cover the costs of the role.
